I was born and raised in Calgary Alberta and in 2013, I moved to Toronto Ontario to complete a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto in Mississauga. I ended up becoming the valedictorian for University of Toronto after completing my program in Art and Art history.
From an early age I loved photography. I remember trying to capture the beautiful rainbows and clouds on my mother's old film camera and going through roll after roll. Right now my work has developed into a mixture of both photography and print media, specializing in the print form of mono printing. I use my photography as inspiration for my print technique which involves frosted Mylar and watercolour pencils.
I believe that art can heal and change people and it is through this non-verbal form that we can truly find our ways to heal. I am very interested in mental health and healing from trauma through many different ways including talk therapy, art therapy and movement.
Thank you for coming to view my work and I hope you enjoy.
